From Drama Department Director Tracy Bourne:
The BHS Drama Dept is participating in the 👻 Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat program 👻 in conjunction with the International Thespian Society. Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat is a national community service program for ITS-member schools to collect canned and dry goods for local charities and food banks.
We will be accepting donations of nonperishable and canned items from October 21 through October 30 in Room 204, Room 308, and the main office. Teachers, please encourage your students to bring in donations. We need every single canned good!
We will also collect food donations (some in costume) during the local Trick or Treat activities on October 31, 2015, from dusk until 8:00p.m. These donations will go to benefit the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula. Thousands of pounds of food will be collected in one night across the state, giving organizations the ability to help thousands of local people. If your club or organization would like to help, please let us know as soon as possible.
