9th and 11th grade students who took mock tests Wednesday, October 14th can pick up a copy of their answer sheet during lunch on October 16th (administrators have a table to distribute a copy of the answer document) and enter their responses into Khan Academy whereby they will receive an immediate score and can begin working to improve their SAT performance.
High school students and parents can access Khan Academy directly from Hampton City Schools' Parent/Student Portal. KhanAcademy offers over 100,000 interactive exercises in math, science, computer programming, history, art, economics, finance, SAT prep, and career skills.
As an alternative, here are written directions:
Students can pick up a copy of their completed answer sheet during lunch on October 15th and 16th (administrators have a table to distribute a copy of the answer document) and enter their responses in Khan Academy using the following steps:
a. Open any web browser
b. Click on the high school website or HCS home page
c. Click on the parent menu and find PowerSchool for Parents/Students.
d. Click on Khan Academy in PowerSchool Parent Portal
e. Click on SAT or PSAT
f. Click on practice
g. Click on practice on Khan Academy
h. Click on practice now (green button)
i. Click on full exams
j. Select practice test #1 and enter answers from the October 14th test. Students can review answers and begin using Khan Academy to strengthen weak areas.
