Congratulations to our Valedictorian, Alex Kwong!

Kwong’s activities include the National Honor Society, Scholastic Bowl, Model United Nations, and varsity soccer. He also serves as a soccer referee with the Peninsula Soccer Officials Association and volunteer at the Virginia Living Museum.

He was accepted to the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech. He plans to attend the University of Virginia and major in computer science. He hopes to work as a software developer after college.

Fondest high school memory:
“(My fondest memory is) staying after Governor’s School to play video games with friends.”

A tradition at your school you will miss:
“I will miss playing soccer for BHS.”

An achievement you are most proud of:
“(I am most proud of) becoming the valedictorian.”

I am proud to be an HCS graduate because:
“I am proud to be an HCS graduate because it has allowed me to meet and form connections with people.”

If you could thank a teacher who had the greatest impact on you, who would it be and why?
“(I would thank) Mr. Monahan for making class interesting and for being an all around cool person.”
