Conference Debate

Ashley Orgain placed third in Lincoln Douglas debate in the Conference Debate and will be moving on to Regionals April first at Lee Davis HS.

Congratulations to JazZe!!!!

They received 3 1's (Superiors) at the Choral Assessment on March 16th at Lafayette High School.

They also received a Superior rating on sight singing!


Blue Ribbon Music Department!!!!

Congratulations to the Bethel Chorus on earning Straight Superior Ratings at the District VIII Choir Assessment.

Also, congratulations to the Bethel Symphonic Band on earning Straight Superior Ratings at the District VIII Concert Band Assessment.  This, combined with the MIGHTY Marching Bruins Superior Rating at the State Marching Assessment means the Bethel Band is now a 4 time Va Honor Band!!!!

AND!!!!!

The Bethel Music Department is now a Blue Ribbon Music Department!!!!  The highest recognition a school music department can receive in the state.

Culinary Team Wins at ProStart Invitational

Congratulations to the students listed below for winning 1st place at the 17th annual Virginia ProStart Culinary Invitational scholarship competition on Friday March 10!

The team will represent Virginia at the National ProStart Culinary Invitational scholarship Competition in Charleston, SC in April. 

Each student won scholarships from top culinary colleges in the country. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $15,000!!! The students are:

Sarah Braboy – Bethel
Anaya Cooper – Kecoughtan
De’Onte Walters – Phoebus
Jahmal Robertson – Phoebus
Taylor Holden – Phoebus
