From Model UN Advisor Mr. Ralph Monahan:

Bethel Model UN had a strong showing at our first conference of the year!
  • Caitlyn Jung and Mayli Swalef worked diligently to create a resolution for the protection of women in the UN Women's Committee representing Colombia.
  • Raven Campbell worked to create a Peruvian Constitution (circa 1990) as Elena Martinez in the government of Alberto Fujimori
  • Alex Kwong worked on solutions for nuclear proliferation and nuclear waste in the International Atomic Energy Committee.
It was a very strong showing and we are proud of the students measuring their talents to over a thousand other students from schools from across the country!
